PSHE lessons, together with assemblies, encompass three core themes 'Health and Wellbeing', 'Relationships' and 'Living in the Wider World'. The programme contributes to each child’s personal development by helping them build their confidence, resilience and self-esteem, make informed choices and recognise, accept and shape their identities. Children develop values such as respect, caring for others, good manners, integrity and responsibility, which they demonstrate both in school and in the wider community.
PSHE is integral to our strong commitment to pastoral care and addresses the needs of pupils in a rapidly changing world . The academic and personal development of each individual is monitored and we work closely with pupils and their families to provide appropriate support and guidance.
