Junior Drama is vibrant, exciting and non-competitive. Our aim is to enhance confidence and self-esteem; encourage creativity and imagination; develop concentration and listening skills, and develop theatre and performance skills.
Drama is used to enhance other topics through cross-curricular links with subjects such as History, Music and Religious Education.
Within a safe environment children are able to explore social and cultural issues, enabling them to develop empathy through characterisation and story-telling. Drama helps pupils to find their creative voice so they can develop into confident and skilled communicators.
