GCSE Results 2016

St Gabriel’s students are celebrating achieving over half of their GCSE grades at A*/A, with 98% of the year enjoying five or more GCSEs at A*-C.

Clare Reseigh, Head of Sixth Form and Acting Vice-Principal, said she was “thrilled for both the girls and staff.  Whilst our results are a significant improvement on last year, and well above the national average, it is the girls’ individual achievements and successes that please us most.”

Particular congratulations to Savina Sangha from Greenham who achieved 10A* & 2A; Megan Clark from Hermitage who gained 9A* & 3A; Lottie Hutton from Burghclere who enjoyed 9A*& 2A and Lauren Swain 6A*& 6A.

Clare Reseigh commented that “for all our students GCSE results are just part of their outstanding achievements during their journey at St Gabriel’s.  Mitzi Scott, who enjoyed 9A*/A, also plays a pivotal role in the sporting successes of the school.  She is a fantastic role model, combining academic success and sporting excellence at national level."

Visitors to St Gabriel's quickly recognise that this is no ordinary school. Parents are always impressed by the sense of purpose and enthusiasm of the talented, committed staff and the confidence of the extremely happy pupils. We offer girls the opportunity for a seamless journey from Nursery through to Sixth Form, with our boys leaving us at the age of 11 for their senior schools.
