Y7 Jewish Museum, London

Having studied Judaism in lessons, Y7 visited the Jewish Museum in London to further their knowledge and understanding of the religion today as well as its cultural and historical heritage.  Pupils had the chance to handle a real Torah scroll, learnt how to write their name in Hebrew and made Havdalah candles which are used at a ceremony at the end of Shabbat.

Visitors to St Gabriel's quickly recognise that this is no ordinary school. Parents are always impressed by the sense of purpose and enthusiasm of the talented, committed staff and the confidence of the extremely happy pupils. We offer girls the opportunity for a seamless journey from Nursery through to Sixth Form, with our boys leaving us at the age of 11 for their senior schools.
