Hallway storage/feature unit

Izzy designed, developed and manufactured this product to be used in a hallway for storing small items such as post, keys, phone, glasses and other small personal items. She used Polynesian culture as a starting point for inspiration. The product is manufactured from oak and copper sheet. Izzy created the Hibiscus pattern using 2D Design and then laser cut a template which she could use to drill the holes in the copper sheet. The oak sections were dowel jointed. The light is an additional feature to showcase the pattern in the copper face. It is remote controlled and colour-changing.

Visitors to St Gabriel's quickly recognise that this is no ordinary school. Parents are always impressed by the sense of purpose and enthusiasm of the talented, committed staff and the confidence of the extremely happy pupils. We offer girls the opportunity for a seamless journey from Nursery through to Sixth Form, with our boys leaving us at the age of 11 for their senior schools.
